Peace - Justice - Orthodox Christianity

“The affairs of the world are largely in the hands of people who are expert at making money, waging war and playing politics" "By our greed and lust, by our pride and selfishness, we have made this world, a place of strife and struggle of war and terrorism. We spend a major portion of the fruit of our labors to fight our brothers and sisters in other lands or in our own. Have compassion for our miserable plight! May the Lord have mercy on us!"

Peace, Justice, and Orthodox Christianity

This site is established to provide a forum for discussion of ideas and to make announcements of upcoming activities of the social justice ministry of St. Mary the Protectress Orthodox Community. St. Mary's is a monastic community and intentional Orthodox Christian community.

St. Mary the Protectress Syriac Orthodox Community is located at 1000 South Michigan Street, Plymouth, Indiana. You are invited to join us for the Holy Qurbana which starts at 10:30 am every Sunday. There are daily services at 9 AM, 12 Noon, and 6:30 M. We at St. Mary's always welcomes new members to attend our services and be a part of our Community family, or just participate in our social justice ministry ministry and activities.
