Amid high tension between Georgia and Abkhazia, religious leaders in the breakaway republic are trying to bring together people from across the divided community. Monks from the New Athos monastery are performing services for both Georgians and Abkhazians in the hope of uniting them in a common belief. Perhaps the story in this video should be followed here in America with the run up for the coming election. While some suggest finding the common ground, prayer, with both sides and for all sides, is the example these monks give all of us.
